The Slovenian team, led by Igor Lah, has been a consistent challenger at the top end of the RC44 fleet since 2008. With Igor Lah on the wheel for the fleet racing and match racing, and Michele Ivaldi as tactician, the team finished in the top three at the 2008 and 2009 Tour. But they were keen to improve on their eighth place overall in 2010 and shot up the leaderboard with a fourth overall in the 2011 Tour.
