Brian Benjamin's Team Aegir comes from the world of Maxi Yacht Racing. Team Aegir joined the RC44 Tour in 2012 competing in two of the season’s five events. The team will combine racing in the Maxi and RC44 circuits for 2013. Racing identical RC44s on small racecourses forms a perfect platform to hone their starting technique and close quarter’s boat on boat strategy, not generally found on the Maxi circuit.
