Brian Benjaminís Team Aegir comes from the world of Maxi Yacht Racing. With Benjamin at the helm, Aegir first came to prominence in 2010, winning the Mini Maxi Cruiser Yacht World Championship. Brianís latest yacht, also called Aegir was built by Carbon Ocean Yachts. The head turning 82í Maxi took line honours in every race at the 2011 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup.
Team Aegir are focused in their goals for their RC44 campaign. Racing identical yachts on tight courses forms a perfect platform to hone starting procedures and boat on boat strategy. Taking on the world class teams and sailors in the RC44 circuit is an ideal way to improve performance for Aegir's 2012 Maxi racing season.
