The Russian Team Katusha, led by owner Gennadi Timchenko, joined the RC44 class 2009. In 2012 they were runners up to Team Aqua in the Championship Tour with America’s Cup legend Brad Butterworth calling the shots. For 2012 American Star sailor Andy Horton will step in as tactician and be hoping to get the team back on the podium.
