The RC44 class was conceived and co-designed by four-time America’s Cup winner Russell Coutts. With a 50:50 split between amateurs and professionals in the crew line-up, the class attracts some of the world’s leading business minds as their owner-drivers along with many of the world’s top international sailors. The RC44 is established as one of the world’s leading yacht racing circuits.
 
Since its 2007 debut, the RC44 class has held regattas in Europe, USA and the Middle East, attracting substantial spectator interest and media coverage. With new owners coming into the class every year, the class continues to expand rapidly.
